2012 Updates:
May 19 - Deer Creek Speedway.. Only 8 street stocks at the track, we drew a 99 at the gate which started us 4th for the heat race. Troy finished 2nd in the heat. 9 schools participated in the school bus races tonight. They had 2 heat races with Goodhue School winning an exciting heat race. Troy started outside front row of the street feature. He got out to an early lead and led the first half of the race. He slipped back to second after the half way point and finished 2nd in the feature. A lot happier with the setup in the car tonight and looking forward to next week. The evening was capped off with the school bus race feature event. Some carnage left on the track after this but an exciting race.
May 12 - Deer Creek Speedway.. Started 3rd in the first street heat for the night and fnished 3rd. Deer Creek now has an in-car camera they put in various cars and locations throughout the night and they put it in our car for the heat race. Go to our video page to view the in-car video from tonights heat race. Started on the outside front row for the feature. Car was good for the first few laps but we had a rear tire that was loosing air and the handling went away on the car. After spinning the car once and no caution for it Troy came back to finish 6th for the night. Bus races next week!

April 14- Deer Creek Speedway-- Drew a 1 at check-in tonight. 8 streets on hand tonight. Started on the pole for the heat and won our second heat race of the season. Also started on the pole for the feature. Led all but the money lap and got beat at the checkers by 1/2 car, finished 2nd in tonight's feature.
April 7 - Season opener at Deer Creek. About 140 cars checked in, with 21 street stocks. We drew a 23 at the gate which put us on the pole for heat #3. Troy paced the field flag to flag, was challenged for the lead about mid race but held onto the top spot for out first heat win of the season. Drew a 7th starting spot for the main event. Troy was challenging for a top 5 spot very early in the race when about mid-way down the backstretch we heard the car backfire and Troy slowed very suddenly. The car was silent as he coasted around the front stretch and came to a silent stop just before the turn 1 exit. A push off the track by the wrecker and the silent coast down to our pit. No power to the ignition and a quick check of things revealed a failed battery connection. Disappointing finish to the night. But the car handled great and we are excited and looking forward to lots of fun the rest of the season.
April 2 - Car is loaded on the trailer and ready to head to test-n-tune on Wednesday.
February 2012- We have been busy this past winter building a new car. Will be ready for paint very soon. Will keep you updated as we get closer to the start of the 2012 season.
